This conference will bring together worship leaders and planners, musicians and pastors from the New City Network and other congregations to engage in cross-cultural worship, fellowship, and learning.  The program will be evangelical and Reformed, exploring  Northern European, African, African-American, and Hispanic traditions as well as contemporary musical worship expressions in these cultures. MNA SecondCareer Ministry has a variety of opportunities for lay people to assist in ministry; many of these are particularly aimed at aiding church planters. For example, Pastor McKay Caston of Creekstone Church, in Dahlonega GA is seeking a volunteer to serve as a church administrator. This volunteer would assist the lead pastor and pastor of community and discipleship in a variety of administrative tasks so that they can focus on their primary ministries of leading, preaching, outreach, discipling and building community. As Parakaleo Church Planting Spouses Ministry enters its eighth year, ministry opportunities continue to expand. Our vision is to see healthy church planting couples lead gospel-dynamic churches that fill the earth with the glory of Jesus Christ. Parakaleo comes alongside women with training, mentoring, network groups, and coaching. For "we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because we loved you so much" I Thess. 2:8. This year, Parakaleo is expanding our social media campaign and fundraising efforts to enable us to reach more women. BJ Milgate and his wife, Andrea, are Timothy Fund recipients doing a church planting internship at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Oviedo (http://www.cpconline.net/) before planting a new church sometime in 2014. BJ says "Andrea and I work hard at networking in the community and inviting new people into our spaces...most of them have no church background and this has been an excellent way to begin conversations about the Gospel..." Hope for Atlantic City NJ is continuing the disaster response work in their community.  At this time they are in need of day trippers, those individuals and teams who are close enough to come and serve for the day therefore not requiring housing.  If you would like to go and serve at this site as a MNA Disaster Response Volunteer, please contact Sherry Lanier at slanier@pcanet.org. Ascension PCA has asked MNA Disaster Response to help provide volunteers to serve with them in reaching out to the Broad Channel area, a community of Brooklyn.  Broad Channel is a narrow strip of land, five city blocks wide at its widest point. It has 920 homes, all of which were submerged in nine feet of water during the hurricane.  Approximately 60% of these 920 homes have children. The needs are profound and Ascension has made this area their target to assist with recovery from Hurricane Sandy.  Volunteers are needed for months to come.  If you are interested in volunteering to help meet these needs, please contact Sherry Lanier at slanier@pcanet.org.
