Strength To Rise
Both accomplishments and detours along the way in my life have offered me opportunities for growth. In God, I receive all that I need to meet every experience successfully. God is the light that illumines my way; the hope that lifts my spirits, the balm that heals any hurt, and the resilience that keeps me keeping on. Knowing God's Spirit is within me and goes before me, I make positive choices that create positive results.

"I love both of my kids equally - but it is clear to me and everyone else for that matter, they have very different strengths. Kevin is the analytical thinker. No surprise - he has pursued a career in accounting! He thrives in situations that require order and logic. Jamie, on the other hand, is talented also - but not in finance. Her emotional intelligence and the ability to perceive the unspoken is amazing! She can be in a room for less than five minutes and be able to perceive the relational dynamics - even without knowing any of those present. I'm blessed - two wonderful kids with strikingly different gifts..."

Are you interested in becoming a prayer chaplain? Send an e-mail if you'd like to attend Chaplain Training. Dress casual. We will go over our orientation materials, get you comfortable with the 3-part prayer process, learn some varied styles of prayer and practice some role plays praying with people so that we can get you active in the work! It will be a fun and inspiring time! |

Please pick up some individually wrapped candy/treats and a pack of empty plastic eggs to donate to our annual Easter Egg Hunt for children 11 years of age and under on Easter Sunday! There is a collection basket in Fellowship Hall to
receive these donations.
