Senator For A Day!
Special thanks to Senator Steve Glazer for hosting Patrick Kirbach of Lafayette and Blake Muller of Pleasanton as "Senators for a Day" in Sacramento on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Both Patrick and Blake and their families participated in Senator floor activities, tours of the Capital and learned about the district and pressing legislative issues. The opportunity by Senator Glazer was in honor of Autism Awareness Month - highlighting the need for housing and vocational opportunities for individuals with special needs. See all the photos from this special day here and watch the video of Senator Glazer introducing Patrick, Blake and their families on the senate floor here

East Bay Gives 2016 is a Wrap!

BIG BIG THANKS to all our supporters and donors who participated in East Bay Gives on May 3! As many of you know, the online platform had major problems handling the traffic from all the donors. This problem affected nonprofits and donors nationwide. The good news is that even with all the traffic and processing issues, your generosity and patience shined through! Combined with the gifts that came directly through our own website, we had a total of 86 donations and raised over $6,700!! (We were in the top 20 out of 500 nonprofits for gifts received!) Thank you to all who participated! You are helping us follow our dreams and work towards building a sustainable community!
