Re-Register and Go Green - Use eBiz for Spring Renewal

This 30 minute webinar guides you through the processes of setting up an eBiz account and registering members online.  Remember, by using eBiz you know immediately that the member is registered and member information is correct in the council's membership database. Troop leaders and the girl's primary guardian may register girls for the current and upcoming (2015-16) membership year.

When 80% of your troop participates in Spring Renewal, the troop will have the option to purchase a special T-shirt! Troops who use eBiz to register will be able to purchase the T-shirt for $5! T-shirt cost with paper registration is $8. Download the T-shirt order form.

Operations Update

After much consideration, the decision has been made to

close the Girl Scout store in Tuscaloosa on May 28. It is the charge of the council to use resources to serve the membership in the most effective way possible, and because customer service is our top priority, the former shop manager, Angie Hines, will now serve as customer care manager.

One of the most common complaints I receive is about how ineffective our phone system is. I am happy to say that we will soon revamp this system, and Angie will serve as the operator for our answering service, ensuring that you are able to speak to a person and have your questions answered each time you call.

We will downsize the Tuscaloosa office, which will remain open in the same location. This option will save the council money, while still providing the needed amenities for the Tuscaloosa area service units. Staff will relocate to offices in the back portion of the building and visitors will use the side entrance.

Our shops in Huntsville and Birmingham will remain open and ready to assist you in any way possible.  Please note that phone orders are always welcome, and we will be happy to ship items to you or send your order to the Florence or Tuscaloosa offices for you to pick up!

Our store hours in Birmingham and Huntsville will change this summer.  In June and July the shops will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday-Friday. The offices and shops will be closed on Monday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. We appreciate your continued support in the midst of all these changes and we look forward to providing service to you in a more effective and efficient way.
