Self Service Quick Links available in UAccess Employee
Having trouble navigating to your time sheet in UAccess Employee?  Would a link on the right of your homepage help? If that sounds like a good idea to you, you'll be happy to know that the latest upgrade allows you to add that link yourself!

UAccess Employee's latest upgrade comes the option to activate a set of ESS (Employee self service) Quick Links. The ESS Quick Links pagelet gives you direct access to your timesheet and paycheck as well as the new Paycheck Modeler and your personal information pages.
ESS Quick Link

You can turn the pagelet on and off as you wish by clicking on the Content link in the top right corner of the page, by the Sign Out link and then checking the appropriate box in the pop-up window.

Paycheck Modeler available in UAccess Employee
Employees are now able to use a new feature in UAccess Employee called the Paycheck Modeler to quickly answer paycheck related questions without calling the payroll department.

You can use the paycheck modeler features to calculate the effect of overtime, wage increases, or changes to benefits enrollment.
  • Perhaps you are wondering if you should file your taxes as a single person even though you are married. What kind of effect would that have on your take home pay?
  • Thinking that maybe you should start investing in your retirement? If you decided to enroll in a retirement account how much money could you contribute to that account on a bi-weekly basis without feeling too much strain in your paycheck?
  • Maybe you've been asked to start working more hours or perhaps there is a possibility of a raise. What would that mean to your paycheck? The Paycheck Modeler can help answer these and many more questions.
Training resources will be available in UAccess Learning as well as the Employee Resource page on the UAccess Community.
New Time Management tutorials available
The UAccess Employee tutorials received an update this last weekend and now includes many more useful tutorials for you such as:
  • Employee Self Service --> Paycheck Modeler
  • Employee Self Service --> Open Enrollment
  • Manager Self Service --> Time Management
Check them out at your convenience!

New Star Members
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Presenter Icons
This month we have TWO star members. Even better, they both moved up a star level! Maria Swarts went from Silver to Gold this month and Jennifer Paine went from Bronze to Silver. Congrats to you both and keep up the chatter! Thank you for advancing discussions and answering questions for your peers!

Also, it's just a happy coincidence that they are both dog lovers. I did not do that on purpose just because I'm a dog lover. If that were the case, then Ron Roberts would also be mentioned. Oh, I just mentioned him. Oopsie.

You, yes YOU, can be a star member next month. You can find details about the Star Members program in the Welcome Center. And if you're interested in nominating a colleague, let us know.
