UAccess Learning Going Live!, Research Gateway, & Financials Updates
|
FSO, UITS, HR, and the VPR invite you to join us at the Business Community Open Forum, September 8 & 9, as we introduce the new employee (and student) training management system, UAccess Learning, to Business Managers and HR Liaisons. As of September 9, business office employees will be able to request access to use UAccess Learning to manage training for their departments. At this meeting, we will demonstrate UAccess Learning and the process for getting provisioned as a business officer user of it. The pilot partners who are offering training through UAccess Learning will be on hand to answer questions. Additional demos are planned for the week of September 22 to introduce the training system to the full campus.
In this session, Julie Sanders and Scott Pryor of the Office for Research and Discovery (formerly known as the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research) will introduce the new Research Gateway. The Financial Services Office will also share some updates about UAccess Financials.
Please note that, due to the limited space in the SUMC Kiva Auditorium, you will need to register for one of the sessions.

Report your UAccess Errors
|
Over the past few weeks, users have reported intermittent issues within our enterprise application systems; most notably UAccess Financials. Issues have included timeout errors, page load errors and general slowness/page spinning.
To assist UITS track down the underlying cause of these errors, we are requesting specific examples from users. If you are experiencing any issues and would be willing to take a moment to share them with us, we would appreciate your help.

New Dashboards in UAccess Research
|
The Conflict of Interest Office and University Analytics & Institutional Research (UAIR) are pleased to announce the Conflict of Interest Dashboard in UAccess Analytics.
The purpose of this dashboard is to provide the campus community with conflict of interest completion status. The dashboard shows:
- Who has completed the required conflict of interest training,
- When training renewal is due,
- Who has completed the required conflict of interest disclosure,
- What actions are necessary on an individual's disclosure, and
- Completion status of both conflict of interest requirements.
Instructions for accessing and using the dashboard can be found here.
