Greetings!
Happy Wednesday! A recent survey in the US reported that bosses are most receptive to requests on a Wednesday. So go forth and ask for more golf time! If your wife says no, DO NOT POUT! It will cause wrinkles around your mouth.

Do You Suffer With Golfer's or Tennis Elbow? |
Did you know that Golfer's elbow or Tennis elbow is caused by over-gripping your club, racket, anything else you hold in your hand?
The reality of elbow tendinitis, commonly called golfer's or tennis elbow, is that the cause is more related to what you do with your hand and not your elbow. When suffering with elbow tendinitis, your forearms will usually be hard or tight feeling. I know.... we are told we should have a hard body and guys may want their arms to be tight and call them guns, but trust me, that is what is creating the pain in your elbow. Looking at the anatomy of the forearm, you will see that you have 5 muscles that attach to the inside of your elbow and run to the tips of your fingers. These allow you to close your hand. You also have 5 muscles that attach on the top of your elbow and also run to the tips of your fingers. These muscles allow you to open your hand. Check it out for yourself! Open and close your hand and watch your forearm muscles move. When the muscles from the fingers to the elbow get tight, most of time you will feel it in the elbow first, then the wrist, and finally the hand. Some will tell you it is arthritis, carpal tunnel, tendinitis, but the bottom line is you have over worked your forearms by clenching your hands around a racket or club. Want to easily eliminate this pain? Massage your forearms daily. Go deep enough to feel the 2 bones in your forearm. The massaging will allow the muscles to soften and release the pressure on your elbow. Then, make a light fist with your hand, grab it with your opposite hand, and bend your hand at the wrist downward to stretch out the forearm. Hold for 2-3 seconds and repeat 8-10 times. You can watch how this stretch is done on the stretch videos at www.MuscleRepairShop.com. Happy golfing and tennis everyone!
