San Jose Classic Result!
Greetings!

Another great tournament is in the books. Hot, hot, hot is what temperatures and putters were during the San Jose Classic. What a story many can speak about for years to come. I hope you enjoyed playing what I think is one of the best courses around. This traditional Donald Ross golf course always makes me play well, smile and feel good. It appeared as though the course had the same effect on you, as I observed many smiles on the faces of all concerned. It was a great day, despite the heat of the day.   Hot it was, in more ways than one! Keep reading you'll know what I mean.

The TOUR's outstanding play continues as our divisions grow bigger and the competition gets keener. Our Boys 13-15 division has been the largest all year, but this week the challenges of San Jose brought out the boys 16-18 and the girls 13-18 divisions. It was really good to see another field rowing in size as nearly 90 players hit the links. Let's keep building it and grow into the 2015-2016 season. I'd like to be the #1 Junior Tour in the South, for that matter in the nation. You want to come along for the ride? I hope so!

What's really nice too is to see the scoreboard marked up in RED. In golf we all know by now that this is a good thing and it's the color we want to see at the end of the round.

Many thanks to all our great players for playing in this event and the parents, grandparents and family members who continually support the game. You all get a high five!

The Summer is a busy time in golf as many of our players teeing it up this week are getting in a practice rounds before the PGA Junior Championship, which kicks off today in Orlando and then it's the Florida Junior Tour Championship coming up In a couple of weeks at Black Diamond. Then it's time for the NFJG Pro-Junior and then the NFJG TOUR Majors, the Junior Amateur at World Golf Village and then the Great Jacksonville Championship at the Atlantic Beach Club. What a great line up of events with some great prize at stake.

Keep striping it and we'll see you at the upcoming events.
