Holy Week is Here!
Have you ever travelled the full Holy Week journey? Holy Week and Easter are the highest holy days of the Christian year, and the Episcopal liturgies are especially moving. Travelling through the week and marking each event through ritual is a powerful spiritual exercise. Please consider attending the full week's activities if you can - or at least as many as you can. You will not be sorry to experience the beauty and power of Holy Week.

The holiest night of the Christian year. This dramatic liturgy begins in darkness. A fire is kindled and the light of Christ comes into the church. The quiet and candlelit first part of the service recounts God's story through history, and we renew our baptismal vows. Then the lights come on, bells ring and music begins as we welcome new life. Bring along a special bell to ring if you have one.

Three Spring Baptisms
On April 7, we look forward to having three baptisms during our Sunday morning service. Please keep our baptismal families in your prayers as they make preparations to take baptismal vows on behalf of their babies. Please pray for Aiden and his parents Erika and Doug, Jimmy and his parents Sandy and Darin, and Caitlin and her parents Karen and Amy. Consider bringing a coffee hour treat to share on April 7 to celebrate this very special day together as a church. |
