It's that time of the year.. Spring has Sprung and the Skeeters are out!

MOSQUITOES - CALL TO ACTION!!

Mosquito.. It's a fine dance, isn't it? Mother Nature sends the rain to replenish the lakes and water the flowers. Everything is so lush and green and beautiful! I guess that's what we get for living in paradise...

While we can't do much to control the rain, we do have a little something we can do to try to manage the mosquito population. The Polk County Mosquito Control is here to serve you!

Recent enhancements have made it easier for citizens to request mosquito service via the new on-line Citizen's Request for Mosquito Service Application or identify real-time information with the new GIS Mosquito Control App. In short, if you want the mosquito man to come out and spray with his truck, you need to go to their website and request service. This service is only available BY REQUEST, so pick up your phones and send your emails! Their website is: Polk County Mosquito Control

The back side holes will be closed to all golfers and spectators. Please do not go on these holes at any time. We greatly appreciate your cooperation with us while we are improving the golf course.

October	"ROUTE 66" Get your kicks beginning with the sounds of the 50's and 60's in this coast to coast hit musical revue at the Show Palace in Hudson. Buffet lunch included
November	Get naturefied with a Space Coast Boat River Tour. Our adventure begins on the beautiful Banana River where you will see lots of wildlife, travel through the Canaveral Locks, and tour Port Canaveral
December 6 & 7	Travel with us to beautiful St. Augustine. Our adventure will include a 2 day pass on the trolly for sight-seeing, evening trolly tour of the beautiful Christmas lights, and overnight accommodations.
January	Travel with us to Downtown Disney for an exciting day and attend the early evening performance of CIRQUE DU SOLEIL!
February 2 February 19	Come join the group for a exciting 4 hour cruise on the "Barbara-Lee", a true rear wheel paddleboat sailing across Lakel Harris and up the St. John's river. You will be served Hors D'oeuvres and sticky buns to tide us over until a fabulous lunch. Choose from Prime Rib, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Salamon or Roast Vegetable Lasagna with all the trimmings. Music and dancing. And, near the end of our cruise a bountiful feast of boiled shrmip! Daytona 500 with reserved front stretch setting.
March March 18	A beach and shelling day on Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands River Ranch hayride & rodeo at Westgate just east of Lake Wales. Enjoy the ride through this beautiful 7,000 acre Kissimmee island Cattle Company Wildlife Management Area while enjoying the talents of a singing cowboy. Enjoy a family0style barbecue cook-out. (I've heard this is awesome) The Rodeo tops off our evening.
April	Sonnentag Theater at the IceHouse in Mt. Dora presents the award winning musical Oklahoma. Buffet lunch or dinner (depending on date) at the Mission Inn is inluded.
