MOSQUITOES - CALL TO ACTION!!
Mosquito.. It's a fine dance, isn't it? Mother Nature sends the rain to replenish the lakes and water the flowers. Everything is so lush and green and beautiful! I guess that's what we get for living in paradise...
While we can't do much to control the rain, we do have a little something we can do to try to manage the mosquito population. The Polk County Mosquito Control is here to serve you!
Recent enhancements have made it easier for citizens to request mosquito service via the new on-line Citizen's Request for Mosquito Service Application or identify real-time information with the new GIS Mosquito Control App. In short, if you want the mosquito man to come out and spray with his truck, you need to go to their website and request service. This service is only available BY REQUEST, so pick up your phones and send your emails!
Their website is: Polk County Mosquito Control
and the phone number is: 863-534-5377
