Greens Replacement Underway

Our greens replacement is underway! We sprayed nine greens and removed the grass. This next week, we will be blocking off the 2-9 and number 17. It will be an active construction, so for your own safety, please do not enter those areas.

Welcome Norm and Scott!

Please extend a hearty Schalamar welcome to Norm Roberts, our new Golf Superintendent. Norm comes to us with 28 years of experience as the Superintendent of all courses at Sun City Center. As a long time Lakelander, Norm is looking forward to our greens replacement project and improving the golfer experience at Schalamar.

Please also welcome Scott Peter, our new Accountant in the Executive offices. Scott's background includes vast experience in golf accounting at Grasslands Golf course. Please introduce yourself and make him feel welcome!

Mosquito Call to Action!

Please contact the Polk County Mosquito Control. Due to all of the rain we've had lately, we will also be having record numbers of mosquitos soon. The county does pay attention to the number of calls received from an area. Please take the time to contact them via telephone at (863) 534-7377 or via e-mail at skeeter@polk-county.net if you have a large numbers of biting mosquitoes in your area.
