We are in the process of moving some folks around in the clubhouse. Please bear with us as we move the offices (and people!) to better serve you. Some extension numbers have also changed, so be sure to listen to our new greeting entirely when calling. Marti Newkirk, the Community Manager is at extension 226, however she is not at her desk all the time; she is also out in the community frequently. Please leave us a message if we are away from our phone and desk.

Mosquito Call to Action!

Please contact the Polk County Mosquito Control. Due to all of the rain we've had lately, we will also be having record numbers of mosquitos soon. The county does pay attention to the number of calls received from an area. Please take the time to contact them via telephone at (863) 534-7377 or via e-mail at skeeter@polk-county.net if you have a large numbers of biting mosquitoes in your area.

Please Don't Kill our Alligators!

The local alligators are a wonderful glimpse into wildlife of Old Florida. When left alone, they will stay to themselves and generally hide whenever they see a human - they usually just ignore you.
However, once someone feeds a wild alligator, he begins to see humans as a source of food. He will then become more bold and approach people looking for a hand out. When there is none, he may become even more aggressive and chase people.
Once an alligator is being aggressive, we have no recourse other than to have him removed from the property for everyone's safety. Please understand that this doesn't mean that the alligator is simply relocated; they are destroyed so they do not attack anyone!
The best way to be kind to an alligator is to look at them from afar and NEVER FEED ONE, as it is most always a death sentence for these amazing creatures.

Drica's Gourmet Coffees - Saturday

Just a friendly reminder

Drica's Coffee we will be available to serve you this Saturday, 8-10:30am.

This week they are brewing Southpaw Espresso, a medium espresso roast, with creamy round body and notes of caramel 'n sugar cane. Also serving Brazilian Cheese bread and homemade granola, plain or with yogurt. Blended beverages: salted caramel mocha and truly latte are also offered. See you Saturday!

A Night with the Divas

Reserve Saturday, August 8, 2015, for the Diva's.

The Show will be held in the Caddy Shack, with Dinner beginning at 5:00 PM and the

Show beginning at 6:00 PM.

The menu is: Your choice of Meat Loaf or Chicken Marsala. Along with your Meat choice,there will be Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Salad, Rolls and Butter, and Dessert. Tea, Coffee and Sodas are included. Alcoholic Drinks are extra.

The cost is $10.50 per person and will be paid at the time of the dinner.

There is limited seating and the Reserved seats are going fast.

Reservations aren't necessary , but if want to sit with friends or neighbors Reservations
