Home Sales Prices Are Up!

Murex Home Sales has reported great increases in sales for 2015! There has never been a better time to upgrade by selling your home and either ordering a new one or taking advantage of huge discounts on existing new model inventory.

2015 Sales are up 29% over the same time period for 2014. Wow - great job to the sales staff!

Question: Is that because the homes are being sold for less?
Answer: Absolutely not - just the opposite! The average sale price is up 25%. Home prices are higher this year than last.

Question: Are sellers being "talked down" from their asking price to get these sales?

Answer: No. There's a certain amount of negotiating that goes on in just about every sale, which is where the "offer-counteroffer dance" comes in. However, sales concessions are also down over 12%! That means sellers haven't had to drop their price as much as last year to get buyers to sign on the dotted line and get the deals closed.

Question: I've had my home on the market but it hasn't sold yet - why?
Answer: Perhaps we just haven't found the right fit for your particular home yet. Make sure to keep your home in a ready-to-show state at all times. We are happy to work with you on ideas to try to sell your home.

Karaoke by the Activities Committee 6/27

Karaoke, sponsored by the Activity Committee, will be held in the Caddy Shack on June 27th from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Stan Kubic will host.

Everyone is welcome but you must sign up and receive a wrist band to participate. Sign up sheets will be in the Caddy Shack or call Marge Short at 863-665-2752. If we have a good turnout. we will try to sponsor this event on a regular basis.
