basketball," is opening its first Southern California facility this weekend in Torrance with tours, special guests, free clinics and more.  Shoot 360 is considered an innovative, high-tech training facility. AT THE NEW TRANSIT CENTER SITE 
Phase 1 of the construction of Torrance Transit Park and Ride Regional Terminal is complete! This facility will reduce single occupancy vehicle trips due to its close proximity to the I-405 and I-110 and its park and ride facilities. In addition the Transit Terminal will improve regional mobility linking Torrance Transit routes with other regional providers in the Transit Terminal. The Torrance Theatre Company presents the last weekend of performances of "The Drowsy Chaperone." In this "show within a show," The Man in Chair sits down to listen to a recording of his favorite Broadway musical, a parody of 1920s musical comedy. Explore Old Torrance on this free, docent-led walking tour. Begin the tour at the Torrance Historical Society & Museum and learn about Torrance's historic sites along the way. Meet author Joe Siegman as he visits the Civic Center Library to discuss his new book, "Bats, Balls, and Hollywood Stars: Hollywood's Love Affair with Baseball." The book tells the story of Hollywood Stars Night, an annual baseball game at Dodger Stadium where celebrities from Rat Pack stars Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin to Kevin Costner, Rob Lowe, Billy Crystal, Ray Romano and hundreds of other of Hollywood's icons played a real baseball game at Dodgers Stadium.
