Every year, the four South Bay beach cities team up with the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Department of Beaches and Harbors to put on the International Surf Festival. This year, the City of Torrance is the host! The festival spans four days and includes 18 different competitive events for participants of all ages. The three main events are the Judge Taplin Lifeguard Medley Relay, the Dwight Crum Pier-to-Pier Swim and the Charley Saikley 6-Man Volleyball Tournament.
