The Torrance City Council will have two budget workshops on the 2016-2017 proposed operating budget. The workshops will take place as part of regularly scheduled council meetings. At the meeting, residents and local businesses are invited to provide input on the budget.

5K RUN / WALK

As part of the 2016 Armed Forces Day Celebrations in the City of Torrance, the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce will host a 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, May 21. Participants are encouraged to register before May 1 for a $5 discount. This fun run is sure to be a highlight among the many exciting activities during the three days of Armed Forces Day events in Torrance.
