A series of forums will give voters in Torrance the chance to meet and hear from the six candidates who are running to fill three open seats on the Torrance City Council. The next forum will take place tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Toyota Meeting Hall at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center. On April 20, candidates will be at Richardson Middle School. As part of the 2016 Armed Forces Day Celebrations in the City of Torrance, the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce will host a 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, May 21. Participants are encouraged to register before May 1 for a $5 discount. This fun run is sure to be a highlight among the many exciting activities during the three days of Armed Forces Day events in Torrance.
