CITY CONTRACTOR TO INSTALL
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS
From Jan. 27 to Feb. 2, 2016, the City's contractor, Conti Corp., will be installing new publicly accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the Post Avenue public parking lot. During construction, alley access at the rear of the parking lot may be partially closed.
If you have any questions related to EV construction, please contact Jesse Beltran of Conti Corp at (310) 916-9950, Ext. 252 or (951) 214-8695 (cell).
To promote expansion of alternative fuel vehicles in the region, the City has begun installing publicly accessible electric vehicle charging stations. The Downtown Torrance charging stations are one of six locations that are being installed throughout the City.
When completed, the Post Avenue public parking lot will have one Level III DC Fast Charging Unit and two Level II units.
If you have any questions related to the City Council approved EV infrastructure project, please contact: Danny Santana or Nina Lang at (310) 618-5990.

TREE TRIMMING TO AFFECT
DOWNTOWN SIDEWALKS AND PARKING
The week of Feb. 1, the City's landscape contractor will be trimming the City's street trees in Downtown. For safety in areas where tree trimming is taking place, sidewalks and parking spaces will be closed to pedestrians and vehicles. Temporary NO PARKING signs will be posted.
The tree trimming will be conducted in phases to minimize impact to our residents and businesses.
We thank you for your cooperation and patience during this period.
