REGISTER FOR SUMMER DAY CAMP 
The City of Torrance Community Services Department invites Torrance residents to take advantage of early registration for Summer Day Camp for kids ages 6-14. Residents can register now from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Registration Office, located at 3031 Torrance Blvd. Open registration for non-residents begins Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Summer Day Camps will be in session June 22 to Aug. 28, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Resident fees range from $130 to $140 per week. Summer Day Camps will be held at Greenwood Park, La Romeria Park and Wilson Park. Learn More ...

TORRANCE WINS WYLAND FOUNDATION'S
NATIONAL MAYOR'S CHALLENGE FOR WATER CONSERVATION 
The City of Torrance is one of five U.S. cities named as a winner of the fourth annual National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation for its commitment to making water-saving choices. Torrance Mayor, Patrick J. Furey accepted the certificate Monday morning for the most water pledges in the city's population category. Torrance also held the top spot for total water reduction pledges in the nation at 76,294,819 gallons. See the Video ...

If you missed the 56th Annual Torrance Armed Forces Day Parade last weekend, you can still see all the fun! The parade will be broadcast Friday, May 22, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Channel 22 and Verizon FiOS Channel 35. It will re-air every other day. You can also see the parade on the CitiCABLE YouTube channel.

Torrance Theatre Company presents this long running off-Broadway absurdist comedy places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904, just before the scientist transformed physics with his theory of relativity and the painter set the art world afire with cubism. Bystanders, including Picasso's agent, the bartender and his mistress, Picasso's date, an elderly philosopher, and an idiot inventor introduce additional flourishes of humor. The final surprise patron to join the merriment at the Lapin Agile is a charismatic dark haired singer time-warped in from a later era. Enjoy the show ...
