As part of their efforts to earn a Bronze Award, the members of Girl Scout Troop 3215 will hold a beach clean-up event at Torrance Beach on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 9 to 11 a.m. The public is invited to participate. Please meet at the dolphin statue at Miramar Park, 201 Paseo de la Playa, at 9 a.m. for instructions.

The "Mayor's Challenge" is a friendly competition among cities in Southern California to see which city can be the most "water wise."
