TORRANCE CITY COUNCIL APPOINTS MIKE GRIFFITHS 

TO FILL VACANT COUNCIL SEAT

The Torrance City Council appointed Mike Griffiths to City Council Tuesday night to replace Mayor Patrick J. Furey, who left an open council seat when he won the June 3rd, 2014 mayoral election. In his application for appointment to Torrance City Council Griffiths stated, "I am a logical thinker and do my best to look at the big-picture as well as the long-term ramifications when making decisions."
