City of Torrance staff will be presenting a

Status Update on Optimized Weekly Street Sweeping Program

Tuesday, April 22, 2014,  7  p.m.

at the City Council Meeting

(Torrance City Hall, Council Chambers at 3031 Torrance Boulevard)  

  
Details and schedule for installing No Parking signs for this alternate day street sweeping program will be provided and residents will be provided an opportunity to speak to City Council in regards to this important program to protect our lakes and oceans.

CITY OF TORRANCE APPOINTS MARK MATSUDA

AS NEW POLICE CHIEF

Torrance City Manager, LeRoy J. Jackson is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Matsuda as its new Police Chief.  Since starting his career in 1987 at the Torrance Police Department, Mark Matsuda has risen through the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and Deputy Chief to becoming the 9th Police Chief of the City of Torrance.  He will receive his new badge on Tuesday, April 15 at the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting which begins at 7 p.m. in City Hall (3031 Torrance Blvd.).
