CHARLES H. WILSON PARK

Food Forward is a volunteer powered grassroots group of Southern Californians who care about reconnecting to our food system and making change around urban hunger. With the large amount of organic waste that we divert from landfills, and the nutritional value of including fresh fruits and vegetables in the diets of Torrance's children and residents who utilize local food banks and pantries, Food Forward can make a huge impact on important issues that are currently being addressed in Torrance.

Starting February 11th, 2014, Food Forward will begin a weekly Farmers Market Food Recovery program at the Torrance Farmers Market. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities, and Food Forward asks for all your support and contribution! Keep a look out for Food Forward at the Farmers Market and also Check Them Out Here...
