THE FRIENDS OF THE MADRONA MARSH PRESENT

MOONLIGHT MAGIC

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2013 | 5 - 10 PM | $50

KEN MILLER RECREATION CENTER TORINO PLAZA

The Madrona Marsh Preserve is a safe haven for birds, reptiles, plant life, and all types of living creatures. It is also a place for families to reconnect with nature or to partake in all the fun and educating activities the Marsh has to offer. On October 19th, 2013 the Marsh will be hosting its annual fundraising celebration to help sustain and protect all of its programs. There will be live music, silent and live auctions, gift baskets, and excellent food provided by Red Car Brewery! If you bring your own metal utensil, you'll receive a free Gift Basket raffle ticket.
 
Tickets are available with cash or check at the Madrona Marsh Nature Center and at Wild Birds Unlimited in the Rolling Hills Plaza. Tickets sold at the door are based on availability and are subject to limited meal options.  To purchase tickets online through Paypal, or to learn more Click Here...

Have you ever wanted to touch a Rose Float? Here's your chance to become a decorator for the 2014 Torrance Rose Float. Once the float steps off on the January 1, 2014 Rose Parade you can tell your friends and family "I GLUED THAT FLOWER ON!" So come one, come all to the October 17th decorator orientation meeting at 7 p.m. at Torrance City Hall. You will get information about becoming a member of the Torrance Rose Float Association and be able to choose your date and shift to decorate! Dry Decorating is Saturday, December 7th and the Float Decorating in December 26th through December 30th. Join the Fun...
