The Torrance Historical Society will conduct a memorial service for Torrance service personnel who gave their lives in U. S. military actions. The program will include the reading of the 146 Names on the Wall. Those Names include war losses from World War I to those in the Iraq and Afghanistan War. To date, the organization is halfway to their goal of putting a face on each name. Immediately following the Memorial Service, all are invited to the Torrance Historical Society & Museum for the first public viewing of Dennis Kwong's 23-minute Names on the Wall documentary, which captures the research behind the Names on the Wall project.
