2016 Friends of the Wautoma Library Leadership Award

Sandi  Kotinek is the winner of the 2016 Friends of the Wautoma Library Leadership Award. Over the years, Sandi has served on the Friends of the Library Board and the Wautoma Public Library Board. She is currently a weekly volunteer at the library and secretary for the Wautoma Historical Board that makes decisions on the Genealogy Resource Center housed in the library. Also pictured are Mary Adams, who presented the award, and current Friends of the Library president, Kathy Hergan.

Library Board Opening

We have an opening on the library board. If you have a love of libraries and live in Waushara County, please consider applying. Just leave your name and number with a librarian. The Library board meets once a month. Members create and review policy, budget and make other spending decisions; they hire the director, act as library and literacy advocates, and help direct the future of the library by voicing the community's needs. It's a great way to have a positive impact.
