For those who like it savory, join Linda Welty for Slow Cooker Sensations on Saturday, February 6th at 10:30 am. There's nothing quite like having something warm and delicious waiting after a hard day's work. Learn new recipes, tips, and tricks.  

For Those Who Like it Nutty...

Attend the Hickory Nut Cracking Class on Thursday, February 11th at 3pm. Learn from the Wisconsin Hickory Association about the types of hickory trees in our area, drying and storage of nuts, starting your own trees, and using nuts in a variety of ways. Cracking techniques will be practiced; nuts provided.

For Those Who Like it Earthy...

Get a head start on spring and join the Master Gardeners' for a Seed Starting class on Friday, February 19th at 6pm. You will learn how to start your seeds right and low cost crafty ways to make your own pots. Our Seed Saving Library will also open at this time and patrons will be allowed to check out 5 different types of seeds. There will be donated seeds to be given away as well.
For Those Who Like it Adventurous...

Mark your calendars for Mondays. Geared towards children grades 3-8, Maker Mondays led by the UW Extension puts the fun back into science with hands on experiments. Let's kick things off on Monday, February 8th by making your own flashlight. All Maker Mondays start at 4pm.
