National Poetry Month

Kids, you can celebrate too!

There's paper in the children's room! Write your very own poems! Take them home to share, or give your masterpieces to a librarian and she'll hang them up in the children's room! Plus, visit the library this month and see the funny poems that are already on display and continue the fun by checking out some poetry to read at home!

Blue Ribbon Kid's Day

The Waushara County Libraries have a booth at Blue Ribbon Kid's Day and this year we have created a "Race to Save the City" superhero game. Visit our booth! We would love to see you there.

Blue Ribbon Kid's Day is Saturday, April 11th from 8:30am to 12:30pm and held at Parkside School (300 South 16th Avenue, Wautoma). Fun for the whole family, there will also be exhibits, refreshments, train rides, a toddler zone, face painting, bouncy fun, hands-on activities, emergency vehicles, the fire safety house, and Randy Peterson in Concert. For more information, contact Jan Novak at (920) 787-6600 or 1(888) 250-4331.

Sneak Peeks....

1. On Saturday, May 30th, the library will be having a drive-in movie program for kids. Stay tuned for details!

2. The Summer Reading Program is just around the corner. Look forward to plenty of superhero fun with this year's theme of "Every Hero has a Story." We have a line-up of great performers and will be kicking off the 6-week program with a "Superhero Day" on Thursday, June 11th. So kids, dust off your capes!
