Family Storytime

Wautoma Library is introducing a new monthly Family Storytime! Join Miss Sue on Thursday, October 2nd at 6 pm for some Halloween-themed fun.

 

Movie Day

An officer finds himself caught in a time loop in a war with the alien race. His skills increase as he faces the same brutal combat scenarios, and his union with a Special Forces warrior gets him closer to defeating the enemy. 

 

Join us as we watch the Edge of Tomorrow starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Movie is showing on Thursday, October 9th from 4:30 to 6:30 pm in the meeting room. Drinks and popcorn provided.

 

CPR and AED Class

Want to learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to work an automated external defibrillator (AED)? The Waushara County Emergency Services Department is hosting a CPR and AED Class at the library. The cost is only $6.00 for either the evening class on Wednesday, Oct. 8th at 6pm-9pm or the morning class on Friday, October 10th from 6am-9am. Sign-up is required. Pay at your session. Please come - you just may save a life!

 

Scrapbooking Club

Scrapbooking Club is held on the second Friday of each month. Please join the fun on Friday, October 10th from 6pm until ???

 

 

Blackhawks Acoustic Jam

Come on out to the Wautoma Public Library (meeting room, east entrance next to Joe's Pizza) and join the Acoustic Jam session on Tuesday, October 20th at 6:30 pm. Play along, sing along or just sit and listen. Over 100 song lyric sheets with guitar chords are available -- free.  Pick the ones you like and take them with you. 

The music begins at 6:30 and generally goes until about 8:30.  The atmosphere is very casual.  This reoccurring event meets every third Tuesday and is open to the public.
