Christmas Celebration
This Saturday, November 30th, at 9:30 a.m. the library is opening early so we can pass out cookies for the Cookie Walk and you can celebrate with us. Decorate Christmas cookies! Create fun crafts! Watch the Polar Express! Thank you to the Kiwanis Key Club for helping the library put on this event. Fun for all!

Library Holiday Observances
To celebrate the holidays, please note that the library will be closed November 28 and 29; December 24, 25, and 31; as well as January 1.

Grieving During the Holidays Workshop 
Presented by the Agnesian HealthCare Bereavement Center/Grief Relief and the Wautoma Public Library, a workshop will be held in the library's meeting room on December 4, 2013 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Learn tips, gain support, and find friends to listen and help you cope! Sign up today.

Holiday Open House 
Come and celebrate the season at our Annual Friends of the Library Holiday Open House on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. Enjoy refreshments and a special storytime with tree decorating.

First Thursday Movies
The first Thursday of the month is movie day at the library! On December 5th, we will be showing The Call featuring Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin at 1:30 p.m. and Disney's The Little Mermaid at 5 p.m. Join us as we watch movies and eat popcorn!

Bonus Movie
On Thursday, December 19th, as a special treat, we will be showing the new release Despicable Me 2 at 5 p.m. Don't miss it!

Race the Librarian
Hey racers! Monday, December 16th is the very last day for you to turn in reading logs and receive prizes. Results can be seen in the children's room. All of the kids did fantastic and should be proud!

Afternoon Book Club
On Wednesday, December 11th the book club will be meeting at noon to discuss The Tiger's Wife by Tea Obreht. Please note the meeting time is earlier in December because the Holiday Open House is on the same day. On Wednesday, January 8th the book club will meet at the regular time of 1:30 p.m. to take a break from reading and watch and discuss the movie Lincoln.

Evening Book Club
On Thursday, December 12th the book club will be meeting at 7 p.m. to discuss Heads in Beds by Jacob Tomsky. The topic for the Thursday January 9th meeting is a surprise!
