Summer Refreshments

Summer is here and so are summer beverages here at the Winneconne Public Library! We'll take a break from coffee and instead have cold water, ice tea or lemonade!

Tracy found the neat dispensers and they do a great job of keeping the refreshments cool all day. All we ask is that you put a cover on each cup!

Yesterday we served lemonade, today is iced tea... Come in, find a book, a comfy chair, and enjoy cold drinks in the air conditioning ~
Summer Reading Program Updates

Reading Cave:

Volunteer Mykala Rosendale created this cool Reading Cave for hours of reading enjoyment.  Kids have enjoyed putting on the lighted helmet, writing on the walls with glow-in-the-dark chalk, watching the Play-away View Movies, and of course, reading books.  There is even a timer, so that the kids can track their reading minutes! If you're in the area, go check it out!  The Reading Cave is located in The Gallery, the room across the hall from the library itself.

Book Bucks:

Book Bucks earned through accumulated Reading Minutes will be accepted through Saturday, the 10th of August.

Wednesday Performers:

The library is considering hosting the Wednesday Performer Series in Waterfront Park, located across the street from the Municipal Building.  Stay tuned for further details...
