Patron Appreciation Week
Winneconne Public Library
National Library Week

April 14-20th is National Library Week, which is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and library workers and to promote library use and support. From free access to books and online resources for families to library business centers that help support entrepreneurship and retraining, libraries offer opportunity to all.

This year's theme is "Communities Matter @ your library," reminding all Americans that the library can help you and your family discover a new and exciting world through collections, digital resources and more.

Patron Appreciation Week at Winneconne Public Library

Much as we appreciate the week being designated in celebration of libraries, we here at the Winneconne Public Library also want to let our patrons know how much we appreciate them!  With that being said, we will be designating that week as our "Patron Appreciation Week."  We will be accepting "Food For Fines," during this week, as patrons with library fines may bring in non-perishable food items in exchange for library fines.   Sorry, Food for Fines does not apply towards Lost or Damaged Items.  Each food item equals $1 in library fines.

The Winneconne Public Library will also provide tasty treats and some fun drawings throughout the week.
