Administrators of Monroe County Schools will continue to monitor the Middle Georgia weather situation as it relates to Hurricane Hermine.  Personnel took part in a National Weather Service briefing on Thursday and will continue to be in touch with local Emergency Management Personnel overnight Thursday and into Friday morning. 

Should any conditions affect school operations and/or extracurricular activities, all avenues (email, phone call out system, system and school websites, media, and Monroe Messages) will be utilized for communications.
