After-School Credit Recovery
MP will be offering one 8 week session of credit recovery this semester.  The session will begin September 12th and will run until November 10th. Registered students are required to attend Monday - Thursday, 3:15-5:15 until course work is complete or the session ends.  Cost is $50 per 1/2 unit.

Senior News

Senior Picture Retakes
All seniors should have taken their senior pictures during the summer.  Seniors who were unable to attend during the summer may take make-up pictures at the school on September 8th, by appointment only.  Only photos taken by Lifetouch will be in the yearbook or used by the school.  Students may sign up with Mrs. May in room 206.

Senior Recognition Ads
Senior Recognition Ads are on sale until November 4th These ads for seniors normally sell out before the deadline. These ads are designed for those who wish to congratulate their graduating seniors with a personal message and photographs in the MPHS yearbook.  Ads are sold in 3 sizes:  full page ($250), � page ($135), and � page ($75). If you are interested in buying a Senior Recognition Ad (often called "Baby Ads"), complete the form and return to Mrs. May at MPHS with pictures, message, and money before November 4th

Football News
The Mary Persons Football team defeated rival Jackson 14-7.  Tre Slaton returned a fumble 35 yards for the first Bulldog touchdown.  Zach Harvey added another touchdown on a 6 yard run.  The defense, led by leading tacklers Dan O'Neal, Vic Henderson, and Tay Jarrell held Jackson scoreless in the 2nd Half.  The Bulldogs take on Washington-Atlanta Friday at Dan Pitts Stadium.  Game time is 7:30.

Volleyball News

The Volleydogs have been on the road this week traveling to Lamar County and Northside HS. The JV and Varsity defeated Lamar 2-0. The JV defeated Northside High School 2-1. The Varsity lost 2-3 in a long five set match. The Volleydogs compete against Mt. de Sales, Baldwin County and FPD this week. JV Record 3-3, Varsity Record 3-3.


Volunteers are needed for the Volleyball Program.
