The URL address for the Georgia Parent Survey is http://apps.gadoe.org/schoolclimate/parents.nsf/Survey.xsp. The survey may also be accessed from our school's homepage.

MP Teacher Spotlight
This week's spotlight is on Mrs. Elizabeth Holloway. Mrs. Holloway attended the University of West Georgia where she received her bachelors in Mental Retardation.  She also attended Georgia State University where she received her masters in Multiple & Severe Disabilities.  She received her specialist degree from Georgia College and State University in Special Education. She has been teaching for 11 years. When asked what/who inspired her to become a teacher, she said "my mom who was a special education teacher and administrator and several of my own teachers over the years." When asked what she likes best about her job she said "the students."

In her spare time, Mrs. Holloway enjoys spending time with her husband and her children.  When asked about an interesting place that she has traveled she said "I got to go on an Alaskan cruise when I graduated college.  Seeing the beauty of God's creation there was truly life changing."  She spends most of her 'spare' time these days reading about ways to successfully transition her students out of high school and how to promote social inclusion for people with disabilities..  Her role models are her grandparents.  She said that "they are both people with strong character, humility, and incredible work ethic."  Her "bucket list" includes "visiting Hawaii, seeing Niagara Falls, and serving people with disabilities in another country."
