MP Teacher Spotlight
This week's spotlight is on Ms. Samantha Trevitt. Ms. Trevitt graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor's degree in Art, and from Lesley University with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction/Integrated Teaching Through the Arts. She has been a teacher for 9 years, and was inspired to become a teacher by her teachers and her love of all things ART. She worked through college painting murals, and as a make up artist. When asked what he liked most about her job she said "the students". In her spare time she enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with her family. Ms. Trevitt's favorite memory from high school was her art classes.
Ms. Trevitt said she "would love to travel anywhere!"
Her favorite book is The Awakening by Kate Chopin. Her favorite sport and sport's team is Auburn Tiger Football. "War Eagle!" Ms. Trevitt said her grandfather is her favorite role model. Her "bucket list" consists of "making everyday count".
