MP Teacher Spotlight
This week's spotlight is on Mr. Mark A. Smith.
Mr. Smith graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and from Waldon University with a Master of Education in Math.  He has been a teacher for 8 years, and was inspired to become a teacher by his wife, Melissa Smith.  Besides education, Mr. Smith was an operations manager at Georgia Central Railway.  When asked what he liked most about his job he said "the students".  In his spare time he enjoys hiking, rafting, and anything outdoors. Mr. Smith's favorite memory from high school is playing football.

An interesting trip that Mr. Smith has taken was a cruise to the Bahamas. His favorite books are any by Nicholas Sparks, and he enjoys reading Sports Illustrated.  His favorite sport is football....Go Dawgs!!  Jesus is his favorite role model. Three items on his "bucket list" are more cruises, whitewater rafting, and fly fishing.
