MP Teacher Spotlight
This week's spotlight is on Ms. Jana Peacock.
Ms. Peacock graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelors in International Affairs and a Masters in the Art of Teaching.  She has been a teacher for 11 years, and was inspired to become a teacher by the great high school teachers she had who cared.  Prior to teaching, she worked at a dry cleaners and she also planned youth conferences.  When asked what she liked most about her job she said she "laughs every day and loves to see students master difficult concepts".  In her spare time she loves to cook, and she makes a new recipe every week.  One of her favorite memories from her own high school days was going to Prom with the man who became her husband.  She and her husband traveled to Italy for their 10th wedding anniversary.

Ms. Peacock is currently reading Clementine and Watership Down.  She said that both books are excellent.  Her favorite sports teams are the MP Bulldogs and the GT Yellow Jackets!  Her role models are her friends who are working moms and good parents.  They inspire her to do her best at work and at home.  Three things on her "bucket list" are to eat at WD-40, walk on the Great Wall, and to visit the Louvre.
