Fine Arts News

Nine students were selected to travel up to the University of Georgia's music festival Janfest. Our students were among the best musicians in our state and represented our school well. This four day music festival was an opportunity for our school's best wind and percussion players to play music on a collegiate level in bands containing over a 100 musicians. After three days of rigorous rehearsal the students put on a performance at the University of Georgia's performing art center in front of over 1,000 people. Congratulations Mikayla Singletary, Katie Anderson, Kira Van Hoy, Dakota Lang, Dakota Bittick, Noah Samuelson, Isaiah Williams, Malcom Curtis, and Austin Smith for a job well done!
