Prom Information for Juniors and Seniors:

This year's Junior/Senior Prom will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 8:00 until midnight at the Macon City Auditorium, 415 First Street, Macon, GA.

  

Below is the schedule of prom fees:

January: $60 for a Mary Persons Junior or unpaid Senior; $30 for a guest

February: $65 for a Mary Persons Junior or unpaid Senior; $35 for a guest

March 3rd - March 7th: $70 for a Mary Persons Junior or unpaid Senior; $40 for a guest

A guest includes MPHS freshman and sophomores as well as non-MPHS persons.  A Date/Guest Approval Form will need to be completed for non-MPHS students.

 

Prom dues and guest fees are due by March 7, 2014.

Counselors' Corner
LAST CHANCE to Register for Credit Recovery for this session!  Students need to see the Graduation Coach, Mrs. McLuen, for detailed information and a registration form ASAP!  This session of credit recovery began Tuesday, January 21, 2014 and will run until March 14, 2014.  Students can sign up for zero period, after school, or Saturday school sessions.  A fee of $50 for each .5 credit will be assessed and must accompany student's completed registration form.   Click here to access the registration form.

The MP Varsity Lady Bulldogs Basketball Team defeated West Laurens Tuesday night 80 to 67. KeKe Calloway lead all scores with 38 points. Tyesha Davis added 21. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Westside Friday night 64 to 39. The leading scores were Maya Stewart with 19, Asiana Almon 12, KeKe Calloway 13, Tyesha Davis 11. The Lady Bulldogs record is now 15 and 2.   

 

The MP Boys Varsity Basketball Team

lost a home region 2-AAAA game Tuesday to West Laurens 75-53. They lost a hard fought game at Westside Friday night 82-72. It was the best overall effort in a game we have had as a team this year. Demarcus Davis led the bulldogs in scoring with 26 point and also had 8 rebounds. He was followed by Tra Taylor who played an excellent all-around game with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Also, Trey Weaver had 11 points and 9 rebounds while Que Perkins had 10 points and 5 assist. The boys record is now 9-7 for the season.

 

The JV Boys won their second game in a row Tuesday as they defeated West Laurens 52-26. They played their best game of the season. Their record now stands at 3-5.
