Theological Principle #14
So that they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in me and I in you, may they also be one in us.
John 17: 21

"The soul must journey by knowing God
through what he is not
rather than through what he is
... away from natural props and boundaries
and rise above itself
... to supreme hope for
the incomprehensible God."

Retreats are a way to take one's relationship with God and one's prayer practice deeper. Retreats offer time and space away from the busyness and demands of daily life, and allow the mind, body, and spirit to surrender to God's presence and action within. Retreats are a common practice in many spiritual traditions and are a valuable tool to aid one's interior transformation in Christ.
