"Receive the Holy Spirit.'' (John 20:22) is the divine breathe that
contains the whole of God and all that exists.
"There is no effort needed to receive the divine breath. Breathing is inherent to human nature on both the physical and spiritual levels. It constantly happens. Our best effort is no effort: just to receive intentionally -- that is, with total consent -- the divine communication.
"The will is the mouth of the soul. The Spirit is the divine breath. Letting go of every form of self-identity or reflection is the nature of pure consciousness: to surrender to God just as we are and
to surrender to God just as God is."
