CONTINUING

While formed by our respective denominations, we are united in our common search for God and our experience of Christ through Centering Prayer.   Theological Principle #9.

So that they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in me and I in you, may they also be one in us.
John 17: 21

CONTEMPLATION

Reflections from Father Carl Arico
The Gift of Silence
December 7, 2013

If we put on the mind of Christ, this will open "holes" for the Holy Spirit to enter.

All those around us are on the journey--it may not be the one we want them to be on but we have to love them where they are & never take them out of our heart.

Spiritual awareness is the wonderful gift we have of knowing that God is carrying us.

If the Gospel is "good news" and the joy of one's heart is a prerequisite to humor,  then would not a measure of faith be based on the humor that you bring to life?

CALLING

LIVING FLAME 1
 A FORMATION PROGRAM

Sept. 2014~May 2015

The program is designed for those with an established contemplative practice who seek to deepen & enrich their understanding of the prayer & their spiritual journey.  Participants who are familiar with Fr. Thomas Keating's writings and video recordings will get the most from this experience.  An intention to attend all seven sessions (held on 2nd Saturday of month) is important.

The individuals who will travel to our area to teach Living Flame have been trained and  commissioned by Contemplative Outreach, Ltd. to teach this program.

COST--$350
