CONTINUING

While formed by our respective denominations,

we are united in our common search for God and our experience of Christ through Centering Prayer.
Theological  principle #9

We identify with the Christian contemplative heritage in which Centering Prayer is rooted. We recognize this heritage as the common ground for Christian unity.

Theological Principle #
10
So that they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in me and I in you, may they also be one in us.
John 17: 21

CONTEMPLATION

 WISDOM

FROM
Father William Meninger's
"Process of Forgiveness"
February 9, 2013

"Forgiveness should be the cornerstone of every church"

"As the body of Christ, each of us bears stigmata of some pain & hurt-to accept the pain is to equate it to the pain of Jesus"

"Forgiveness is not a one-time activity but a process"

'We like to carry our burdens-we must acknowledge what we are carrying"

"Each of us has a grievance story-a memory & imaginative repeating of what happened to us-it probably turns into something that is not what really happened-we must try to discern the truth of what happened in order to move forward"
