RAA 2014 Annual Report is now available!

Dear RAA Members and Friends,

Just as others before us cleared our path, we too have a responsibility as an industry and individually to encourage and support the next generation of pilots and technicians to pursue a life-long aviation career. Towards that goal, please use the RAA 2014 Annual Report with its data, statistics and industry contacts as the best resource tool to tell the world about the vital regional airline industry and its role connecting both large and small communities across North America to the global economy.

Consider these facts underlining regional airline importance:

  • In 2013, regional airlines flew 156.97 million passengers.
  • Regionals serve 614 US airports and 431 communities (a full 70%) rely exclusively on regional airlines for their only scheduled passenger flights.
  • The regional industry's average load factor was 78.23% in 2013, and RAA airline flew a combined 75.31 billion revenue passenger miles.
  • The average passenger trip length increased to 474 miles, up more than 30% over the past decade.

You can find everything you need to know about RAA's 29 member airlines and our nearly 200 associate members in this RAA 2014 Annual Report, published in partnership with Emerald Media.

Thanks again for all your loyal support, please call us whenever we can be of help, and most importantly, please join us in celebrating our 40th birthday at RAA's Annual Convention in Cleveland May 11-14, 2015.
