RAA Unveils 2013 Annual Report
|
 It's no surprise that this year's Annual Report cover features just a small sampling of the dedicated 50,000 regional airline employees doing their jobs at their respective airlines. The reason? Thanks to this dedicated and passionate workforce, regional airlines have adapted during these recent dynamic times--highlighted by mergers, restructuring and ownership changes--and still fly nearly 50% of all scheduled flights across the nation.

RAA continues to monitor the effects of the federal government shutdown on the regional airline industry, and will communicate key developments directly with our airline and associate members.

RAA is proud to announce two recent additions to its airline membership: LC Peru and Porter Airlines! RAA now has 29 carriers in its airline family.
Raising the bar with a new standard in air travel, Porter Airlines flies out of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, just minutes from downtown. With a fleet of Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprops, Porter is also the Canadian launch customer for Bombardier's all-new CS100 airliner.
 With their Q200 operation, LC Peru became the first world carrier to operate the Dash 8 to airports above 10,000 ft achieving this STC in conjunction with the Peruvian Civil Aviation Authority and Western Avionics from Canada. During their daily operations, LC Peru flies to airfields ranging from 7,000 ft up to 11,900 ft.
