Small Miracles Made Possible by You
You have heard us express that our students major in small miracles. Saying "I love you" for the first time, eating a whole green vegetable, making a sandwich independently, or pushing a classmate on the swing - these small accomplishments are great miracles for the students and clients of Avondale House.
We would like to share another example of how your support has made a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Breanna enrolled in our day school program this past year. When she first arrived she was very anxious and had trouble staying seated and keeping her hands to herself. Gracious donations to Avondale House enable small class sizes, so that Breanna's teaching team was able to find what made her feel uniquely safe, comfortable and secure - a plush toy canoe. Now, Breanna is able to focus on academic tasks in her classroom.
