Skip the calorie loaded margaritas and nasty tasting low carb beer for these skinny summer cocktails that are under 200 calories each! As for the shoes, before you throw out a favorite pair because they're beaten up, glamor them up with glitter. This tutorial will show you how and just imagine what this can do to a pair of platform pumps! Play around with it, sparkle just the platform part, just the top, or both. You'll have people asking where they can buy a pair! |
Healthy and Safe GrillingGrilling is one of the healthiest ways to prepare food, whether it's a meat, vegetable, or fruit; but too often, it's reserved for hamburgers and hot dogs. Add variety to your barbecues with these healthy recipes, like filet mignon with vegetable kebabs and a grilled peach sundae-YUM! And before you engage in any activity around an open flame, especially if it's humid outside, read this important article on aerosol sunscreens. You'll want to keep a distance for awhile after applying it. For added UV protection, wear a wide brimmed hat and a sexy cover up like these no sew options. As you know, sun damage can lead to premature aging and cancer risks, but if you do get sunburned, be sure to follow these steps to lessen the pain and speed up the healing process. Trainer's Challenge: Mountain Climbers This whole body exercise will condition your shoulders, core and cardio endurance for lyra, pole, and general fitness. Demonstrated here, are three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced with variations (compilation of all included). Instructions on how long you need to preform these levels and the number of sets, are in the written description below each video. Remember to start at your level and work your way up. The more often you do these, the better and stronger you'll get! Pole Move of the Month Fireman Spin This simple spin is so versatile that you can work it into combos, transitions, and climbs. The more you preform it, the more control you will have with speed and adding your own style. Here the spin is broken down and variations shown. Remember to practice on both your left and right side. |

Aerial Video of the Month!  There's been a tremendous campaign within the pole dancing industry to get the sport into the Olympics. This report on CNN showcases the gymnastic side of pole that many people aren't aware of. While we won't see pole dancing in London as an official event, it will be an exhibition one. It's an important first step and we're very excited about it! |
