Director's Update

Dear Husky Families,

We hope everyone had a wonderful break!

The #1 Reason To Attend Summit Prep's Auction This Saturday

We are excited to host our school community at our auction this weekend!
100% of the auction proceeds go directly towards all Summit Prep students.  For this reason, we hope 100% of our families will attend in support of our program. You may submit ticket order forms to the front desk.  Thank you!

Your Voice Matters!

We are excited to launch our 2014-2015 Bi-Annual Parent Survey! In the fall, we surveyed you to learn how we were doing as well as any suggestions for improvement. We incorporated your feedback throughout the school year, and we want to hear from you again so that we can improve next year. Tell us what's gone well and what we could be doing better.

In this survey, we're also including our school's draft goals and action plans for next year, and we want your input. Our goals and actions plans are called an LCAP (Local Control & Accountability Plan) that every school in California creates as part of their funding process. Review our draft LCAP. We will revise our LCAP based on yours as well as our students' and faculty's feedback. If you want to learn more about the LCAP, please attend our LCAP event on Thursday, April 30th at 7pm at Summit Prep.

Please take 5 minutes to complete our short survey . Your survey submission will enter you into a raffle to win a mini iPad.

We will share the results with you as well as our final LCAP after the survey is completed. We truly really appreciate your time.

Take the quick survey by clicking this link.

Thank you!

Parents often struggle with the dilemma of how to support their children in healthy sport participation.  The balance between sports, academics, arts, and downtime can present a challenge as families work to find what experiences will best prepare their children for the future. How can parents support their children toward healthy participation in sports to facilitate a lifelong healthy lifestyle and to reach their potential? In this workshop, Dr. Smith will review current research and provide guidelines for parents and coaches to consider for healthy sport participation.
